The teaser of Adivi Sesh-fronted HIT 2 has been removed from YouTube on the grounds of violence. The last shot of the teaser – where a woman’s body is dismembered – seems to have caused the YouTube authorities to make the teaser age-appropriate now.
Explaining what transpired, Sesh said when his director Dr. Sailesh Kolanu showed him the teaser he anticipated this day would arrive. “And it has come predictably. YouTube has removed the HIT 2 teaser from the trending list. We were trending #1 in the last three-four days. It was removed all of a sudden. It is now age-restricted. Now, one has to sign in and prove that he/she is above 18 years to view it. Violence, right? But we have the confidence that it is the right step for the film. In fact, we put it out in our tweets, saying that it was not for children,” the actor said in a video byte on Wednesday.
On a different note, he added that the complete song of Urike Urike, sung by Sid Sriram, releases tomorrow.
A joint production venture between Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni, HIT 2, which will be Sesh’s second release for the year after Major, bows out on December 2. Meenakshi Choudhary is cast opposite Sesh in the film, an investigative thriller.

ప్రస్తుతం సినిమా ప్రమోషనల్ వర్క్ శరవేగంగా జరుగుతుంది. రీసెంట్‌గా విడుద‌లైన ఈ సినిమా టీజ‌ర్‌కి ఎక్స్‌ట్రార్డిన‌రీ రెస్పాన్స్ వ‌చ‌చింది. అతి త‌క్కువ వ్య‌వ‌ధిలోనే యూ ట్యూబ్ స‌హా అన్నీ సోష‌ల్ మీడియా మాధ్య‌మాల్లో ‘హిట్ 2’ టీజ‌ర్ హ‌ల్ చ‌ల్ చేస్తూ ట్రెండ్ అయ్యింది. ఈ టీజ‌ర్‌తో సినిమాపై ఉన్న అంచ‌నాలు రెట్టింపు అయ్యాయి.
అయితే యూ ట్యూబ్ ‘హిట్ 2’ టీజ‌ర్‌ను తొల‌గించి అంద‌రికీ షాకిచ్చింది. ట్రెండింగ్ లిస్టు నుంచి తొల‌గించింది. టీజ‌ర్ చూడ‌టానికి వ‌యోప‌రిమితి ఉండాలంటూ ఆంక్ష‌లు విధించింది. టీజర్పై యూ ట్యూబ్ యాక్ష‌న్ తీసుకునే లోపు 9 మిలియ‌న్ వ్యూస్ వ‌చ్చాయి. దీనిపై హీరో అడివి శేష్ వివ‌ర‌ణ ఇస్తూ ఓ వీడియోను విడుద‌ల చేశారు. అస‌లేం జ‌రిగింద‌నే విష‌యాన్ని వివరిస్తూనే టీజ‌ర్‌ను చూడాల‌నుకుంటే ఏం చేయాలో కూడా చెప్పారు.
ఇలాంటిది ముందే జ‌రుగుతుంద‌ని టీమ్ ముందుగానే ఊహించింది. అయితే అంతా స‌వ్యంగానే జ‌రుగుతుంద‌ని యూనిట్ భావిస్తోంది. యూ ట్యూబ్ నిర్ణ‌యాన్ని చిత్ర యూనిట్ స్వాగ‌తించింది. అదే స‌మ‌యంలో అడివి శేష్ త‌న వీడియోలో రేపు విడుద‌ల‌వుతున్న ఉరికే ఉరికే సాంగ్‌ను చూసి ఎంజాయ్ చేయాల‌ని కోరారు. గ్యారీ బి.హెచ్ ఈ చిత్రానికి ఎడిట‌ర్‌.
