The teaser of HIT 2, fronted by Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary, was launched in Hyderabad on Thursday. The event was attended by the cast and crew of the whodunit.
The one minute 30 seconds video introduces Sesh as a brash cop KD, who has a rather chill attitude towards his profession. A part of Homicide Intervention Team in Visakhapatnam, which according to his superior (played by Rao Ramesh) doesn’t attract high profile crimes; the atmospheric teaser soon shifts to Meenakshi, who seems to be playing Sesh’s love interest. Things take a turn when Sesh is called to a location where a woman’s body is dismembered. To discover and nab the killer at large seems to be KD’s mission in this part.
Issuing a graphic content warning, Nani, who is producing the film with Prashanti Tipirneni, wrote on his Twitter page, “Double gruesome, Double suspense, Double everything. December 2nd in THEATRES.”
HIT2 will be Sesh’s second release for the year after Major, which was a box-office winner. Dr. Sailesh Kolenu has returned to write and direct the second part as well.
