Having missed two timelines on Friday, the teaser of Jack, fronted by Siddhu Jonnalagadda, was dropped a little after 6 pm but it was every bit worth the wait as it promises full-on entertainment.
Spanning close to one-and-a-half minutes, the teaser opens with Naresh Vijaya Krishna’s part and he has a problem: the problem is Pablo Neroda (looks like its Sid). Naresh wants to know what Pablo, his son, is up to. A character played by Vaishnavi Chaitanya too is perplexed by the nature of Sid’s job. It’s confidential, Sid reveals. Sid is up to something in the teaser-- he is sometimes pickpocketing and at times running away with bikes. He is also in disguise sometimes. Having enough of his son’s shenanigans but not getting an answer on what he is up to, Naresh tries to hang himself. Sid, however, is not giving anything away. Maybe the nature of Sid’s job is a mystery we should catch on the big screen. The teaser later takes an action turn later and it’s edgy.
In conclusion, the teaser, without giving anything of the plot, is a perfect blend of dark humour and just the right amount of thrill to keep one invested. Sid is back to blow our mind with his eccentric yet mysterious turn, while Vaishnavi Chaitanya too makes a solid impression. Together they share a sizzling chemistry. While we may be missing the message the Baskar’s films generally have, we’ll wait for the trailer. The background score by Achu Rajamani complements the different beats of the teaser well.

‘జాక్’ టీజర్ విభిన్నంగా, ఎంగేజింగ్‌గా ఉంది
శుక్రవారం రెండు టైమ్‌లను మిస్ చేసిన ‘జాక్’ టీజర్ చివరకు సాయంత్రం 6 గంటల తర్వాత విడుదలైంది. కానీ ఈ ఆలస్యం సమర్ధించదగినదే, ఎందుకంటే ఇది ఫుల్-ఆన్ ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్‌ను హామీ ఇస్తోంది.
దాదాపు ఒకటిన్నర నిమిషాల పాటు సాగిన ఈ టీజర్, నరేష్ విజయకృష్ణ పాత్రతో ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. ఆయనకు ఒక సమస్య ఉంది – ఆ సమస్య పేరు పాబ్లో నెరోడా (అనగా సిద్ధు). తన కొడుకు ఏమి చేస్తున్నాడో తెలుసుకోవాలనుకుంటున్న నరేష్, అయితే సిద్ధు మాత్రం తన పనులు ‘కాన్ఫిడెన్షియల్’ అంటాడు. వైష్ణవి చైతన్య పోషించిన ఓ పాత్ర కూడా సిద్ధు చేసే పనిపై అయోమయానికి గురవుతుంది. టీజర్‌లో సిద్ధు ఒకసారి పిక్‌పాకెటింగ్ చేస్తూ కనిపిస్తే, మరోసారి బైకులతో పారిపోతుంటాడు. అంతే కాదు, disguise లో కూడా కనిపిస్తాడు. తన కొడుకు చేష్టలకు విసిగిపోయిన నరేష్, సమాధానం దొరకక చివరకు ఉరేసుకునేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తాడు. కానీ సిద్ధు మాత్రం ఏం చెప్పడం లేదు. కాబట్టి, సిద్ధు అసలు ఏం చేస్తున్నాడన్నది థియేటర్‌లో చూసి తెలుసుకోవాల్సిన మిస్టరీలా అనిపిస్తోంది. టీజర్ చివర్లో యాక్షన్ మోడ్‌లోకి మారి మరింత ఎడ్జీగా మారుతుంది.
ఇక మొత్తంగా, కథ గురించి పెద్దగా రివీల్ చేయకుండా, ఈ టీజర్ డార్క్ హ్యూమర్, థ్రిల్ కలయికతో ఆసక్తిని పెంచేలా రూపొందించబడింది. తన విభిన్నమైన, మిస్టీరియస్ రోల్‌తో సిద్ధు మరొక్కసారి మనల్ని ఆకట్టుకునేందుకు వస్తున్నాడు. అలాగే వైష్ణవి చైతన్య కూడా బలమైన ఇంప్రెషన్ కలిగించారు. వీరిద్దరి కెమిస్ట్రీ బాగా కుదిరినట్టు అనిపిస్తోంది. భాస్కర్ సినిమాల్లో ఉండే మెసేజ్ మిస్ అయినట్లు అనిపిస్తున్నా, ట్రైలర్ కోసం వేచి చూడాలి. టీజర్‌కు అచ్చు రాజమాణి అందించిన బ్యాక్‌గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ చక్కగా సరిపోలింది.
