The trailer of Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya-starrer Jack is out finally after a day’s delay but it was certainly worth the wait, with Siddhu in supreme form while promising a wild and hilarious action- drama with a touch of romance.
A little over three minutes, the trailer opens with Prakash Raj, a central agency officer, on the hunt for a dreaded terrorist Athavur Rahman (Shabeer Kallarakkal) who is planning attacks across the country. Even before he nabs a suspect, a man named Jack flees away with the suspect, much to the agony of Prakash Raj. Jack aka Pablo Neroda is up to something secretive but his father (played by Naresh Vijaya Krishna) has no clue about it. Pablo dons multiple get up to achieve his mission and he arrives at hot spots much before Prakash Raj. Pablo also has a romantic interest (Vaishnavi Chaitanya) and the trailer gives a glimpse of their lovely albeit funny chemistry. While director Bommarillu Bhaskar asks us to deduce the story by connecting the bits and pieces of information he offers, one thing’s for sure is that it’s filled with amusing moments. Towards the closing stages, Siddhu takes a self dig at him, saying to an opponent ‘how long will you talk? I thought I blabber a lot but you seem to do it more than me’.
Summing up, Jack trailer promises a rollicking ride that explores the eccentric dynamics of Siddhu’s character. Going by the trailer, the film is going to be a fun riot with its cutting edge comedy, uproarious scenarios and the chaotic nature of the espionage world. It seems to serve the audience with a dose of everything from action to romance to emotion. Siddhu as a man with a mysterious nature to him is the heartbeat of the trailer, while the likes of Naresh, Prakash Raj and Vaishnavi give him good company. The background score complements the trailer well.
Produced by BVSN Prasad and Bapineedu under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, Jack blazes into cinema halls on April 10. Achu Rajamani has composed the soundtrack while Sam CS is scoring the background music.
The #JACK trailer is both entertaining and engaging. Much like in DJ Tillu, Siddu Jonnalagadda infuses the character of JACK with his own personality through his dialogue delivery and quirky body language.
