Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan on Wednesday evening was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC), Chennai for a regular check up. While some reports claimed that he was admitted following complaints of uneasiness and fever upon his return from Hyderabad, with doctors advising him to take rest for some time before diving into work, he, however, has been discharged on Thursday. The hospital hasn’t issued any statement as such.

The actor, who was in Hyderabad earlier this week, paid a visit to his mentor K Viswanath at the latter’s residence. Together, they’ve collaborated on super hits like Swathi Muthyam, Sagara Sangamam and Subhasankalpam. “Met the master #k.viswanath sir at his home.Lots of nostalgia and respect!!," he captioned the photo on his Instagram page.

Haasan, who was last seen in the box-office smash Vikram, has his plate full with Big Boss (Tamil) and Shankar’s Indian 2. He will be joining forces with Khakee director H Vinoth after the completion of Indian 2 and it will be followed by reteaming with Mani Ratnam after Nayagan.
