Killer, starring Jyoti Poorvaj and Poorvaj in lead roles, also features Manish Gilada, Chandrakant Kollu, Vishal Raj, Archana Ananth, and Gautham Chakradhar Koppishetty in important roles. The film is being produced by Poorvaj and Padmanabha Reddy A under the banners Think Cinema and AU & I Studios, with the blessings of Dhyanam Nannagaru, while Urvish Poorvaj presents the project. Directed by Poorvaj, the film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release soon. The teaser was officially launched today at an event held in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, Line Producer Sitarama Rao said ,"The entire team worked very hard on Killer and expressed confidence that audiences would enjoy the film and extend the same support they showed for the teaser".
Line Producer Dasarath Madhav said, "that the film carries strong content blended with an emotional brother-sister sentiment and said that despite being a small film, Killer will achieve big success".
Actor Manish Gilada, who plays the antagonist, thanked director Sukku Poorvaaj for presenting him as a powerful villain and said the team worked collectively to deliver a memorable film, expressing confidence that it would create a new milestone at the box office.
Actor Gautham Chakradhar said audiences would be impressed by Jyoti Poorvaj’s action performance and transformation, adding that the film has been crafted with high technical quality.
Actor Vishal Raj mentioned that the teaser itself reflects the film’s technical standards and praised Jyoti Poorvaj’s surprising transformation from her television image. Actor Srinivas described Killer as a technical wonder and one of the rare films emerging from Telugu cinema.
Actor Chandrakanth said, "that his character remains a suspense element throughout the story and was intentionally not revealed in the teaser. Actor Kalicharan thanked director Anil Ravipudi for launching the teaser and said the film deserves to become a big success, adding that Jyoti Poorvaj appears stunning on screen and audiences should experience the film in theatres."
Heroine Jyoti Poorvaj said,"that she wanted to move away from routine television roles and appreciated director Sukku Poorvaaj for presenting her in a completely new avatar. She revealed that she plays multiple characters in the film, calling it a dream opportunity for any actor. She also performed action sequences, fulfilling her long-time dream of doing action roles similar to Vijayashanti. She added that the team made the film beyond their limitations, not merely for profits but to build a strong foundation as filmmakers and provide opportunities for many people through cinema."
Director Sukku Poorvaaj said," the script was conceived five to six years ago and that the teaser reveals only about 40 percent of the film’s content, while the upcoming trailer will showcase nearly 80 percent. He explained that the film blends artificial intelligence, emotional drama, brother-sister bonding, revenge, and subconscious identity into a sci-fi thriller with a multi-layered screenplay that remains easy for audiences to follow. Calling it a women-centric film, he revealed multiple intriguing character shades played by Jyoti Poorvaj, including Rakthika (a vampire), Raniya (a terrorist), Riya (a spy), and Rai (a poisonous woman), along with another unrevealed character. He thanked the technical team and director Anil Ravipudi for supporting the teaser launch."
