Born last Tuesday, Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s mega princess has got a name. Taken from Lalitha Sahasranamamam, she is christened as Klin Kaara Konidela. The proud grandfather megastar Chiranjeevi took to Twitter on Friday evening to announce the name.
“And the baby’s name is ‘Kin Kaara Konidela’.. Taken from the Lalitha Sahasranamam.. the name ‘Klin Kaara’.. signifies a transformative purifying energy that brings about a spiritual awakening! All of us are sure the little one, the Little Princess will imbibe these qualities into her personality.. as she grows up.. Enchanted!” Chiru wrote while posting a picture in which he and his wife Surekha, dressed in traditional attires, can be seen alongside Upasana’s parents Anil and Shobana.
Ram Charan too took to Instagram to confirm the same. He also shared pictures from the naming ceremony.
The Lalitha Sahasranama is a sacred Hindui text from the Brahmanda Purana which lists the thousand names of the Hindu mother goddess Lalita Devi, a manifestation of the Divine Mother, and is therefore recited in the worship of Devi according to Srikula Sampradayas. A principal text of Shakti worshippers, it describes the goddess’ various attributes in the form of names organized in a hymn.
