The much awaited #NTR30, under the direction of Koratala Siva, was launched with much pomp and show at a prominent hotel in Hyderabad on Thursday, with heavyweights of T-town like SS Rajamouli, Srikanth, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Dil Raju, Shirish, Mythri Naveen and Prakash Raj among others in attendance.

For the muhurat shot on the lead pair of NTR and Jahnvi Kapoor, SS Rajamouli sounded the clapperboard.

Speaking about the film later, Koratala promised that “it is going to be very big this time”. “I consider myself lucky and fortunate to be working with my brother Tarak after Janatha Garage. He is one of the best actors of our generation. The film is set against the backdrop of forgotten lands of coastal India. More than humans, it is filled with mean people who neither fear death nor God. They only fear one thing and that you must be well aware of. Fear is necessary and to what extent my lead character goes to instill fear in them will be told in an emotional fashion. I promise to everyone that this is going to be my best,” the writer-director said.

Film’s composer Anirudh Ravichander said he is happy and proud to be a small part of Koratala’s vision. “I hope I will be able to help his vision come to life. We will give our best,” he noted.

Cameraman Rathnavelu stated that the film will be technically challenging. “It’s happening in a coastal area against a sea background. It has got a lot of ocean shots. We are mixing live sequences as well as shooting in blue screen sets. It’s going to be technically a brilliant film. Siva garu is a wonderful writer and director and I feel happy to collaborate with him,” he said.
