Mega Prince Varun Tej’s upcoming entertainer Korean Kanakaraju is progressing at a swift pace, with director Merlapaka Gandhi steering the project into its final shooting phase. Backed by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, the film promises a vibrant fusion of horror, humor, and cross-cultural flavour, unfolding across Indian and Korean landscapes. Varun Tej, who underwent a striking makeover for the role, is set to surprise audiences with a never-seen-before characterization. The team has now unveiled the film’s first single- Kamsahamnida.

The song scored by SS Thaman opens with Ritika Naik playfully uttering Kamsahamnida, prompting Varun Tej to curiously ask its meaning. Her reply, thank you in Korean, serves as a warm curtain-raiser to the romantic energy between them. The track is crafted with an airy, lively vibe, blending soft Korean touches with catchy mainstream elements. Kasarla Shyam’s writing brings out the innocence of new love, while Sid Sriram’s mellow yet expressive vocals elevate the emotion beautifully. Yash Master adds visual charm with choreography that mirrors the song’s cheerful tone.

Sporting a mass and rugged look, Varun Tej’s screen presence is vibrant and effortless, and his pairing with Ritika comes across as bright, lively, and refreshingly new. Their moments together, set against Thaman’s spirited beats, give the single an instant-repeat quality.

Kamsahamnida sets the right momentum for the film’s promotions, teasing both the tenderness and fun that the movie promises. Earlier, the title glimpse revealed on Varun Tej’s birthday ignited massive curiosity, instantly going viral for its stylish presentation and fun mood. The sneak peek offered a glimpse into the eccentric world of Korean Kanakaraju, hinting at a refreshing horror-comedy loaded with entertainment.

Th film features cinematography by Manoj Reddy Katasani, while editing is handled by Satyaa G.

With shooting nearly finished, the team is expected to reveal the release date soon, further boosting anticipation for this unique horror-comedy entertainer.
