Successful director Anil Ravipudi on Monday released the teaser of Srikanth, Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajasekhar-starrer Kotabommali PS, directed by Teja Marni of Johaar fame.
Two minutes in length, the teaser opens with Ramakrishna (played by Srikanth), a head constable at Kotabommali PS, Srikakulam. He is a man of ethics and principles and doesn’t think twice to give a dressing down to anyone who messes with his people or with the department. Working under him are the characters played by Rahul Vijay and Shivani. Their life takes a turn when a ruffian, who has strong political connections, messes with Shivani. Soon the trio see themselves on the run after realizing that their own department frames them in a case in which the circumstantial evidence is against them. A cop Ali (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar) is assigned to arrest the trio at the behest of the leader Murali Sharma, who is looking for political benefits, and she says she will nab them in less than two days. What happens next seems to form the crux of the story.
Overall, the teaser seems to throw light on the inner workings of the law and order machinery and how cops become pawns in the hands of the politicians, the latter of whom put votes above everything. The visuals are rich, while the background heightens the tension. Srikanth, Rahul and Shivani keep it natural, while Varalaxmi seems to have gotten a role with a lot of meat.
