After being in pause mode for more than five months due to the film's female face Samantha’s health condition, Shiva Nirvana’s Kushi, fronted by Vijay Deverakonda, will be resuming soon. Without divulging the schedule details, Nirvana had this to say on Twitter on Sunday: “Heading towards next schedules #Kushi Action mode on With ace stunt master @PeterHeinOffl and my editor @PrawinPudi.”

A little digging, however, told us that the film will resume this week. “The schedule will start in Hyderabad on March 8th and will go on until March 16th, after which the unit will take a break for a couple of days. From March 19th, another round begins in Hyderabad and will proceed until the end of the month. There is a high probability for Samantha to join the sets from March 8th itself. Schedules in Visakhapatnam and Alleppey, Kerala later this summer will call an end to the talkie portions. The makers are looking to wrap up the shoot formalities by May-end,” a source close to the unit told us.

A romantic entertainer with a dash of family emotions, Kushi, with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, was extensively shot in Jammu and Kashmir last year. Lakshmi, Sachin Khedekar, Jayaram, Saranya, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and Rahul Ramakrishna are playing supporting roles in the film, a Mythri Movie Makers production.
