Trust Sudheer Babu to go to any length to pull off his characters. And that’s what he is doing in his next, Maama Mascheendra, with actor-writer Harsh Vardhan, who is making his directorial debut with the project. In the film, Sudheer plays a triple role and one of the roles required him to be 120 kgs, for which he had some help from a fat suit and prosthetics to achieve the transformation. He could also be seen with a chin prosthetic to give him a more portly look. The leaked video of his makeover from the film is going viral.
Speaking about the project, Sudheer had told us, “I play a triple role in the film. One fellow is 120 kilos and I used prosthetics for it. There is one other guy who is 10 kilos more than what I am in real life. I’ve put on weight for it. The other guy has got a six-pack abs. The characters are nicely knit into the narrative. It’s a very out of the box script.”
The film, co-starring Eesha Rebba and Mirnalini Ravi, is an action comedy from the stables of Asian Group. The likes of Rajeev Kanakala, Ajay and Hari Teja round out the supporting cast, while Chaitan Bharadwaj is the music composer.
