The makers of Vishwak Sen-starrer Mechanic Rocky on Sunday dropped the trailer and it packs a punch, giving us a glimpse into a world filled with adrenaline-pumping action, romance and intense rivalry.
A little over two minutes, the trailer opens with Rocky (played by Vishwak), a computer sciences pursuing engineering graduate, promising his dad (Naresh Vijaya Krishna) that he will become a civil engineer soon. The frustrated dad hands Rocky a pair of wrenches to work in their mechanic shop. Rocky soon starts to learn the tricks of being a mechanic but fails to do so; it’s not his cup of tea. We are later introduced to Shraddha Srinath who seeks Rocky’s assistance to learn car driving. So does Meenakshi Chaudhary. He falls for the latter and pampers her with gift after gift. Their romance takes centre stage for a while. At the same time, Rocky closely moves with Shraddha as well, hinting at a triangular romance. Ranki Reddy (Sunil) enters Rocky’s life next and the rest of the trailer is dotted with action. Their rivalry and battle seems to form the crux of the story.
In conclusion, the trailer features explosive action, high-octane stunts and a triangular love story, all perfectly complemented by some exceptional performances and a grand visual scale. A liberal dose of romance aside, we can expect potential plot twists that will keep us on the edge of our seats. The cinematography is stunning, capturing sweeping cityscapes and fast-paced action sequences with flair. Jakes Bejoy’s powerful score elevates the intensity and excitement of the scenes.
