Sree Vishnu can breathe a sigh of relief as his two upcoming films will no longer arrive in theaters on consecutive days. Earlier, Vishnu Vinyasam and Mrithyunjay were slated for near-simultaneous releases, raising concerns about promotional overlap and potential box-office competition.
While Vishnu Vinyasam is still on track to release next week, Mrithyunjay has officially been pushed from February 7 to March 6, 2026. Announcing the revised schedule, the makers stated: “The date of arrival may change… but not the impact… Mrithyunjay hitting cinemas from 06.03.2026.”
Directed by Hussain Sha Kiran, the investigative drama stars Reba Monica John as a cop and Sree Vishnu’s romantic interest. The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Vinay Chilakapati.
