Production house People Media Factory on Thursday dropped the trailer of Narudi Brathuku Natana and it promises a quirky drama garnished with a liberal dose of situational humour.

Almost two minutes in length, the trailer opens with a scene where an aspiring actor (played by Shiva Kumar Ramachandravarapu) is asked to enact a scene His performance, however, is thrashed. Shiva’s father too believes that his son doesn’t have it in him to be an actor, asking him to rather focus on a job. When Shiva protests why he should when he is well off, his father replies, saying everything is his. A friend later suggests to Shiva that to be a good actor he needs to have empathy and compassion and as someone who has not experienced life so far, how can he dream of becoming one? Acting upon the friend’s suggestion, Shiva decides to be on his own and leaves home for some soul-searching. As a part of journey he ends up in Kerala where he encounters D Salman (Nithin Prasanna) who says he has a beautiful heart. They soon forge a bond and Shiva later falls in love with an acquaintance of Salman. What happens next seems to form the crux of the story.

In conclusion, the trailer keeps you engaged from the first frame to the last, promising a drama which ticks all the boxes: humour, emotion, and action. Shiva as an aspiring actor who is slowly discovering what it takes to be an actor due to his stay in Kerala is earnest while Prasanna makes a solid impression. A background Malayalee song which comes in the second half of the trailer is lively and increases our interest around what’s going to unfold in the film. The cinematography is neat, while the production values are good for a film which has no big names attached on the acting front.

Also featuring Shruti Jayan, Aiswarya Anil Kumar, VIVA Raghav and Dayanand Reddy, Narudi Brathuku Natana, written and directed by Rishikeshwar Yogi, releases in theatres on October 25th. It will be People Media Factory’s third release of the month after Swag and Viswam.
