The demise of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna had dealt a blow to the schedules of Nandamuri heroes– Balakrishna and Jr NTR– upcoming films. While Balayya was to start the fresh schedule of his next with Anil Ravipudi from Thursday this week; it now stands postponed. Balayya earlier shot for the first schedule of the film last December, filming for an indoor action sequence. Ever since, Veera Simha Reddy’s promotions and his other political activities kept him busy. Ravipudi’s project, a Shine Screens production, is a family action-entertainer, with Balayya playing his age. While Kajal Aggarwal is cast opposite him, Sreeleela is playing an important role. It’s a Thaman musical.

On the other hand, NTR’s most anticipated venture with Koratala Siva, #NTR30, was supposed to be launched in Hyderabad on February 24. The makers on Monday revealed the event has been postponed and a new date will be announced at a later point in time.

The film, riding high on expectations as it is NTR’s next after the global box-office smash RRR, is an action entertainer mounted on a lavish scale. Bollywood actress Jahnvi Kapoor is making her Telugu debut with it. Multiple times in the past, the actress expressed her admiration for Tarak, pointing out that she would want to work with him. And it’s happening finally! Jointly produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the project marks the comeback of tunesmith Anirudh Ravichander to Telugu cinema after a while.
