Actor Nikhil Siddartha, who is looking forward to the release of 18 Pages later this month, will be collaborating with leading producer Tagore Madhu for an ambitious venture. According to a source, the work on the untitled project has been going on for a year.

The source tells us exclusively, “It’s a folklore set in the 11th century with a mythical backdrop. First-timer Bharat Krishnamachary will be wielding the megaphone for it. The story has been locked, while the pre-production is in full-swing. It has a lot of scope for computer graphics and will be the biggest film of Nikhil’s career thus far. The idea is to take it to the floors sometime in February or March next year.”

With Nikhil getting a pan India image after Karthikeya 2, the makers of this new film are considering releasing it in Hindi and if possible in other South languages as well. “They have initiated discussions with various technicians to board the project,” the source concludes.

After 18 Pages, Nikhil has two more films lined up for a release. While one is SPY with editor Gary, the other is with his good friend Sudheer Varma. The latter is a crime comedy from the stables of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra of BVSN Prasad. It was shot primarily in London.
