Jr NTR fans had another reason to rejoice as the actor celebrates his 40th birthday today. After unveiling the title and first look of his anticipated next with Koratala Siva on Friday, the makers of #NTR31 dropped an important announcement regarding the film, which has been awaited with bated breath ever since it was first announced more than a couple of years ago. The project marks the actor collaborating with KGF helmer Prashanth Neel for the first time.
The untitled project, which has been in development since long, will be a joint production venture between Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, and will roll in the summer of 2024. “Team #NTR31 wishes @tarak9999 a very Happy Birthday On to the sets from March 2024,” posted both the production houses jointly on Saturday on Twitter.
However, chances are that before diving into Prashanth’s film, NTR will be associating with Yash Raj Films War 2, where he will be locking horns with Hrithik Roshan. The sequel, to be helmed by Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji, will be an adrenaline-pumping action extravaganza just like the first part, and it will get off the ground towards the end of this year.
Coming to #NTR31, it is billed to be another high-octane action-drama from Tarak. Last May, Prashanth had this to say on Twitter about the project: “The only soil that is worth remembering is the one soaked in blood! His soil His reign...But definitely not his blood. #NTR31.”
