In recent times, the makers of Pawan Kalyan-starrer They Call Him OG hold the distinction of regularly dropping updates about the film, thereby keeping the fans of power star a happy lot. And the latest information about the film is the inclusion of Tamil actor Arjun Das. Sometime after revealing that Prakash Raj is playing a key role in the film, production house DVV Entertainment on Saturday revealed that Khaidi fame Arjun Das, who made his Telugu debut with Buttabomma earlier this year, has boarded the film.
“Welcome aboard, Arjun Das @iam_arjundas! #OG will become even more vibrant with your powerful tone and presence,” posted the production house. While the nature of his role hasn’t been disclosed, Arjun’s presence is certain to add more weight in the supporting department.
Into its third schedule, which began on June 4th, OG is currently on sets in Aluminum Factory, Hyderabad, where an action scene is being shot. Pawan has joined the sets on Thursday. “An action-packed schedule is underway, filled with style, mass and energy,” the makers said about the current schedule.
A gangster drama, OG, with music by S Thaman and cinematography by Ravi K Chandran, is a directorial venture of Sujeeth Sign. He is also credited with penning the screenplay. The film, which has been shot in Mumbai and Pune earlier, will most likely be the second release of the year for Pawan after Bro. It has taken precedence shoot-wise over his other titles like Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
