Like Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM), They Call Him OG shoot had to be put on hold due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. The film, whose anticipation is sky-high, was almost completed when Pawan had to shift complete attention to politics towards the end of 2023 but with the actor resuming shooting since last month, HHVM part 1 was completed and now it was the turn of OG to be wrapped up.
On Saturday, production house DVV Entertainment took to X to confirm that Gambheera has completed his part, while simultaneously indicating that the film’s shoot too stands completed. “PACKUP for GAMBHEERA… GEAR UP for the RELEASE… See you in theatres on 25 September 2025,” the production house wrote, tagging an image of Pawan Kalyan from the sets.

A gangster drama, OG, written and directed by Sujeeth Sign, also features Prakash Raj, Emraan Hashmi, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das and Harish Uthaman. Japanese actor Kazuki Kitamura and Thai actor Vithaya Pansringarm are also a part of the supporting roster. The first single from the film, Hungry Cheetah, became a rage when it was released more than 18 months ago and it remains to be seen when the makers will drop the next single. DVV Danayya has produced the film, co-starring Priyanka Mohan opposite Pawan.
