AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Monday gave clarity on when he will finish work on his projects like They Call Him OG, Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which he had to stop to focus on political campaigning and later to discharge his duties as minister. Speaking to media persons in an informal chat, he said OG, written and directed by Sujeeth Sign, is set in the underworld backdrop of Bombay in ‘90s.
About the release status of the films, he said, “The makers of these three films couldn’t start shooting in the time I’ve allotted to them; they were not prepared. I was very clear in stating to the makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Hari Hara Veera Mallu that I can’t do them after a point. I’ve shot them for many days. For Ustaad, when I was ready to shoot, they were working on the script. With OG, I pushed the film to be made faster. I told them to complete portions that don’t involve me and that they can shoot my portions in a week or ten days. As far as Hari Hara Veera Mallu is concerned, eight-nine days of shoot is left. They are doing pre-visualization now and it will be the first movie to be released.”
