Rebel star Prabhas’ next with Sita Ramam helmer Hanu Raghavapudi is a hotly anticipated venture. Having gone on to floors some time last year, sources say the film has been shot for 30 days so far, with filming taking place primarily in Karaikudi and Hyderabad.
A source close to the development tells us, “The new schedule will commence from Wednesday in Hyderabad and will go on until March-end. Specially erected sets in the city will host this leg. With some pictures from the location leaking last time around, the team has taken adequate measures to plug leaks henceforth. The makers are looking to release the flick as a summer treat next year.”
The source goes on to add that Instagram sensation Imanvi is the leading lady with no scope for another heroine to be cast opposite Prabhas.
A period-based action love story, the film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is tentatively titled Fauji. Prabhas is believed to be essaying the role of a soldier in the film set in the pre-independence era. The makers, at the time of announcement last year, released a concept poster that indicates that Prabhas could be a member of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj.
Also featuring veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada, the film is a Vishal Chandrasekhar musical.
