After filming for a song in Visakhapatnam during the middle of last month, the makers of Shankar’s RC15, spearheaded by Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, are now gearing up to start a new outing later this month. This schedule, to last eight-ten days, will also witness a song being filmed.

A source close to the unit tells us exclusively, “The makers are erecting a massive set at Shamshabad for the song. Art director Avinash Kolla is in charge of the set. The makers are spending a bomb to get it done. Work on it is in full swing. The schedule may start from March 18, 19 or 20 and will go on for mostly eight-ten days. Ace dance master Prabhudheva is on board to choreograph the number, which requires the presence of both Charan and Kiara. In true Shankar style, the song will be synonymous with opulence and with emphasis to attention to detail. This schedule will be wrapped up with the completion of the song and the next schedule will take place in April in Hyderabad.”

The still-untitled film, a political drama, sees Charan in dual roles– of father and a son, while Srikanth will be playing a chief minister. A production venture of Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the supporting cast is stacked up with the likes of Anjali, Sunil, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra, Vennela Kishore and SJ Suryah, while S Thaman is the tunesmith. There’s a strong buzz that the film’s title will be unveiled on the occasion of Charan’s birthday (Mar 27) later this month.
