Samantha who has got national recognition with Family Man 2 series in which she played a vital role as terrorist (or martyr) is doing films very selectively. Shoot of mythological film Shakuntalam in Guna Sekhar's direction is complete. She has recently committed a film titled Yashoda (which is said to be a thriller) in Telugu which will be made as a Pan India film.
For the first time in her career, she is doing a special song. Incidentally, she acted as heroine in Sukumar's last film Rangastalam. Sukumar always makes sure that he shoots very popular special songs in his films. Her sizzling song 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava' from Pushpa film is going to be released on 10 December in the form of a lyrical video.
The expectations are high on this song because Samantha is doing a special song in her career for the first time and Sukumar always makes sure that item songs in his films are of top notch mass quality.
