The much-anticipated film Pushpa 2 is all set to release on December 5. The pan-Indian blockbuster has recently wrapped up its censor formalities, earning a U/A certificate from the censor board. The movie’s runtime is reportedly 3 hours and 18 minutes.
Directed by Sukumar and featuring Allu Arjun in the lead, Pushpa 2 is the sequel to the highly successful Pushpa: The Rise. During a press meet on Wednesday, producer Naveen Yerneni addressed concerns about the length, confidently stating that viewers would be so engrossed in the film that the runtime would become irrelevant.
The trailer launch event in Patna attracted a massive crowd of over 2.5 lakh fans eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite star. The team also noted that it was the most-watched event online. On BookMyShow, the film received over 1 million likes, while on Paytm, it garnered more than 1.3 million likes.. The film has achieved remarkable success overseas, with over 50,000 tickets sold at an extraordinary pace. Its trailer has amassed more than 150 million views and over 3 million likes. Impressively, it became the first South Indian movie trailer to surpass 40 million views within just 15 hours of its release.
