Raakaasa is seeing a strong and unified response at the box office, steadily emerging as a solid crowd puller across centres. What stands out clearly is how family audiences are backing the film, turning up in large numbers and driving its theatrical momentum. With its clean humour and wholesome entertainment, Raakaasa has naturally positioned itself as a go-to choice for families this season.

Celebrating this positive reception and growing momentum, the team of Raakaasa hosted a grand success meet in the presence of the cast, crew, media, and chief guest Anil Ravipudi.

Speaking at the event, editor Anwar Ali expressed gratitude for being part of the project, saying, “Thank you to Pink Elephant Pictures and Niharika Konidela garu for giving me this opportunity.”

Sharing his experience working on the film, cinematographer Raju acknowledged the team and audience support, stating, “Thanks to Niharika garu and Ramesh garu for this opportunity. Thanks to director Manasa Sharma garu for giving me a hit. Thanks to my team and thanks to the audience for watching the film and giving us a hit. Thank you.”

Reflecting on the film’s success, choreographer JD Master credited the audience for the reception, saying, “Thank you to the audience for giving us a solid hit. Niharika garu, thank you. This is our second blockbuster. Thanks to director Manasa garu, and thank you so much, everyone.”

Highlighting the film’s engaging nature and his contribution, choreographer Bhanu Master said, “Good evening, everyone. We saw the film yesterday, and there is not even a single moment that lags or bores. The film was gripping with entertainment, and through the song ‘Snake Dance’ I got good exposure. I’m thankful for this opportunity from Pink Elephant Pictures. The film is going well with family audiences, and the Vennela Kishore anna scenes are hilarious. Thanks to the audience for blessing us. Thank you so much.”

Thanking the audience and media for their encouragement, fight master Vijay said, “Hello all. Thanks to the audience for making this movie such a big hit, and thanks to the media for being strong support. I request people to encourage such films so that Niharika garu shall make more such films. Thank you.”

Speaking about the technical collaboration, VFX supervisor Murali said, “I would like to thank Pink Elephant Pictures Niharika garu and Ramesh garu for this opportunity and Manasa garu for writing this. Thanks to Raju garu and Vijay master for their coordination on the set and thanks to my team for all the work.”

Commenting on the film’s performance in distribution circuits, distributor Subba Reddy said, “I’m very happy about the film's hit, and along with me, all the distributors are very happy because the break-even will be achieved by tomorrow. This is the second film with Niharika gaaru after Committee Kurrollu and I have a strong feeling that the film shall run for four more weeks. I'm looking forward to more such collaborations.”

Observing the audience turnout, music director Anudeep shared, “Hello all. Thank you audience for such grand success. We really worked hard for one year, and looking at all the families going to theatres, it feels like Sankranthi is here again. Thank you so much all.”

Sharing her journey with the film, director Manasa Sharma expressed her happiness, saying, “Hello all good evening. Thank you all for attending. This is my first film and it is very special. Thank you so much audience. The reaction is as we wanted and all the audience are looking and enjoying the film at the theatres even at midnight shows. I’m happy that producers and distributors are all happy, and I’m thankful to Niharika garu and Sangeeth garu. We intentionally kept Somu – Vennela Kishore’s character a secret, it paid off well. Thank you so much sir. I really hope Srinu sir and Vennela Kishore sir give opportunities for the next film too. Anwar Ali the editor is a great support for me. Thank you Anudeep garu. Reacting to the audience response across regions, actor Getup Srinu said, “Hello all. Thank you so much for making this film such a big hit. Thanks to the Kannada audience and overseas audience for receiving this well. The film has proved that this generation’s kids will listen to Chandamama katha if it is made as a film and thanks to all the team of the film, especially composers of ‘Snake Dance’ and ‘Rappappa,’ as we were received with such energy wherever we went for promotions. Vennela Kishore anna is such a great guy; we have to learn a lot from him. I’m happy to be a good friend. Thanks anna for coming here. Thanks to all the audience. Speaking about his role and experience on set, Vennela Kishore said, “Hello. Thank you all for making this film such a big hit. Sangeeth – Sarika, Manasa – Niharika is a great combination and I’m happy to be a feather of such a combination. Thanks to Manasa garu for this role. After a long time, I did skin show in this film. Very grateful for all the support and they took care on the set regardless of the action sequences. Even with date clashes, they managed a lot. Bhanu Master has also been kind to me for giving small steps. Thank you so much for this lovely role. Thank you.”

Expressing her gratitude and joy, actress Nayan Sarika said, “Hello. Thank you so much to the media and I would like to thank the entire cast and crew, Niharika garu, Manasa garu and everyone. I specially want to thank the audience because they really received us very well and yesterday at the theatres we saw so many kids enjoying the film, which made us really happy. Sharing her thoughts on the film’s success, producer Niharika Konidela said, “Thank you so much for watching the film in theaters and enjoying it to the fullest.” One of the strongest pillars of Raakaasa, the major element of the film’s comedy clicking is Vennela Kishore gaaru. Thank you sir, thank you very much for the way you were involved in this small role and you really worked even in such uncomfortable environments and never complained about anything. He is such a friendly actor to work with. Our choreographers, fight master—everyone, I want to thank everyone. I want to thank the distributors too. I wanna thank Sukhwinder Singh who played the Raakaasa character who went through tremendous work and thank you for your contribution to this film. The only name that came to our mind to invite as a guest is our hit machine director Anil Ravipudi garu. Thank you so much sir for coming to this event. I’m really happy that you are appreciating our humour and effort. The first thing I remember when I hear comedy is Anil Ravipudi sir’s films.” For Sankranthi you pulled audiences to theatres, and in summer we pulled them. Thank you so much everyone for supporting the movie this much. For 2 hours and 15 minutes we hope we gave you laughter therapy. I really hope you guys forgot your problems and enjoyed our clean comedy film without any discomfort for the family audience. This success of Raakaasa is yours. Thank you.”

Sharing his excitement about the response, lead actor Sangeeth Shobhan said, “Thanks to the media." We just wanted to make this success meet a small event but I really want to thank Anil Ravipudi garu for attending this event. We really wanted to impress you and beat you atleast at the promotions. Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Anil Ravipudi congratulated the team and said, “First of all congratulations to the team for such big success and I urge everyone to watch the film at the theatres. Niharika is such a passionate producer and she is a really hard working producer when it is about taking the film to the theatres and audience. Summer is usually a tough period, especially because of the IPL and yet the film manages to pull such crowd, especially the family crowd. That itself shows the sucess of the film. Thanks to audience too. Comedy shall never fail anyone and it’s true for this film too. The film has a great cast and crew who have a good name for their work. The film directed by Manasa Sharma and produced by Niharika Konidela, both are women and this film success is a triumph of the woman power. And again I urge all the audience, especially family audience to catch the film at the theatre.”

This acceptance is clearly translating at the box office. After opening to 5.6 crore worldwide on Day 1, including premieres, the film saw a strong jump to 10.30 crore worldwide by Day 2. The overseas market has also responded well, contributing over $257K. In addition, the film is seeing solid traction on ticketing platforms, with over 60.03K tickets booked on BookMyShow in the last 24 hours and a user rating of 8.7, reflecting its growing popularity.
