With RRR becoming a world-wide phenomenon, all eyes are on SS Rajamouli’s next. While the maker already indicated that it will be a globe-trotting action adventure on the lines of Steven Spielberg’s hugely successful Indiana Jones franchise, with superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead, he teased more about the film during RRR promotions in the US over the weekend.

“We just started writing. My father is my story writer; he writes most of my films. He, my cousin and I are the core team and we started developing a story just a couple of months back. It’s an adventurous story; I wanted to do an adventure for a long time. Indiana Jones is one of my all-time favourite movies. And I want to do something like Indiana Jones and Dan Brown’s kind of novels. I love them (the latter). (We) are thinking of figuring out something in that space. A globetrotting adventure is what we are planning next. It’s too early in the writing stages,” said the decorated filmmaker.

The untitled film will be a production venture of KL Narayana’s Durga Arts and will go to floors mostly in the second half of next year. Narayana’s bonafides include Santosham, Rakhi, Hello Brother and Kshana Kshanam among others.
