The trailer of Gopichand’s next Ramabanam was unveiled at an event in Rajahmundry on Thursday evening. The film marks the actor reteaming up with his Lakshyam and Loukyam director Sriwass, with the duo aiming for a hat trick of super hits.
Running over nearly two minutes and twenty seconds, the trailer wastes no time in introducing Gopi as a big shot who arrives in Kolkata on purpose. He soon makes acquaintance with Bhairavi (played by Dimple Hayathi), a rich and modern girl, who is a famous YouTuber in Kolkata. Like his earlier efforts with Gopi, Sriwass seems to have peppered the movie with a lot of humour going by the inclusion of familiar names like Vennela Kishore, Ali and Saptagiri. There is Jagapathi Babu in the mix as well. He believes in pure food and good family equations for humanity to survive. His beliefs, however, are not shared by the corporate mafia who are keen to eliminate him. How Gopi saves the day and what is his equation with JB seems to form the crux of the story. Overall, with rich visuals, peppy songs, healthy humour and action, the trailer promises to offer a colourful commercial entertainer as the mercury levels rise this summer.
Produced by T G Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, the film, also featuring Tarun Raj Arora, Nasser, Shubalekha Sudhakar, Sachin Khedekar, Kasi Vishwanath, Satya and Get-up Srinu, arrives in cinemas on May 5. It’s a Mickey J Meyer musical.
#Ramabanam trailer covers all the bases of mass masala films. Dialogues, songs, fights, comedy, family emotion, Kolkata backdrop & message (against food products grown using chemicals).
