Rashmika Mandanna, who was announced as the leading lady of Nithiin’s next with Venky Kudumula, is no longer a part of the project, sources tell us. The untitled project would’ve marked the trio teaming up again after the successful Bheeshma and it was promoted as VNR trio project. She even participated in a hilarious film’s announcement video along with Nithiin, Venky and composer GV Prakash earlier this year. With Venky though, it would’ve been her third project on the trot, as she was the leading lady of his maiden feature film, Chalo, as well.
So, wonder what happened? It has apparently got something to do with Rashmika’s packed-to-the-hilt calendar. “Besides Pushpa: The Rule and Rainbow, which is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, the actress has recently green-lit another Telugu project. Then there are a couple of Hindi assignments that she has to honour. So, multiple projects in her kitty meant that dates were an issue. So after consulting production house Mythri Movie Makers, it was decided that she will no longer associate with Nithiin’s project. She parted ways amicably,” said a source close to the actress.
The untitled project is said to be an action-adventurous film with a generous dose of humour.
