We’ve earlier reported that Shankar will be filming a romantic duet on Ram Charan and Kiara Advani for #RC15 beginning November 23. To this end, the latest we hear is that the filming has commenced in the coastal city of Dunedin, New Zealand on Wednesday. Leading Bollywood dance master Bosco Martis, who has earlier worked with Charan for the super hit dance number Neethone Dance Tonight from Dhruva, is choreographing the song.

A source close to the development says, “Shankar has zeroed in on some tapped locations in Dunedin and started filming. Being a coastal city Dunedin has many beaches scattered along its coastline and around the Otago Harbour. The director will be shooting there on Thursday as well before moving to other cities of South of New Zealand like Queenstown and Nelson. Shankar and his crew identified some breathtaking locales for the shoot and expect the song to be a visual treat in true Shankar style. In total, he has allotted nine working days for the number and day one is over. The skeleton crew will return to India in the first week of December.”

The source goes on to add that Shankar has reserved this month only for the song shoot and he will shift to talkie portions in the fourth week of December in AP, with Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Kurnool hosting this leg.

#RC15, a political drama from the stables of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, sees Charan as an honest IAS officer who wants to root out corruption in the society and revive the political system. He will be also seen in another role, the details of which are shrouded in mystery. The supporting cast comprises Anjali, Sunil, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi and SJ Suryah, while S Thaman scores music.
