Ram Charan is back from the US after attending the 95th Academy Awards ceremony, where his RRR clinched the Oscar for Best Original Song Naatu Naatu, and he had little time to loosen up. Landing in the national capital on Friday, he had participated in India Today Conclave 2013 besides having a rendezvous with the Home Minister of the country, Amit Shah, with his dad megastar Chiranjeevi in tow, late in the evening.

At the Conclave, Ram Charan gave a sneak peek into the world of his next, #RC16, with director Buchi Babu Sana. “I am working on a path-breaking character which is better than my previous subject called Rangasthalam. It is again a story of the soil and I’m starting it from September. I feel this film has every possibility to go to the Western audience and woo them as an Indian story of the soil,” Charan said.

Tipped to be a hard-hitting emotional sports drama set in the backdrop of Kabaddi, #RC16 will have a rural milieu. Venkata Satish Kilaru is producing it under Vriddhi Cinemas while Mythri Movie Makers is presenting. Sukumar Writings too will be associating at the production level.

Meanwhile, the new schedule of Shankar’s #RC15 will kick-start in Hyderabad tomorrow. The makers have put up a massive set at Shamshabad for the eight-day schedule, which will witness a song being filmed on Charan, Kiara Adavi and group dancers. Ace dance master Prabhudheva is on board to choreograph the number, which in true Shankar style will be synonymous with opulence and with emphasis to attention to detail. This schedule will be wrapped up with the completion of the song and the next schedule will take place in April in Hyderabad.
