The teaser of Robinhood, starring Nithiin, was unveiled by production house Mythri Movie Makers on Thursday and it looks like the duo of Nithiin and Venky Kudumula are guaranteeing plenty of laughs again.
The 1:34-min teaser opens with exquisite shots of a city in Australia before a voiceover states that a robber has looted many porsche residences. “Who is Honey Singh who is looting so much honey?” Voiceover asks further. The Singh is disclosed to be Nithiin who has no agendas. All he needs is money and he will face whoever it is, for it. Sree Leela is introduced soon after and she looks ravishing. Nithiin falls for her, while his accomplice played by Rajendra Prasad is worried about the entourage she has. While Venky chooses not to reveal the plot as it is still early days, the teaser takes a serious route as it nears conclusion. It ends on a funny note though, with Nithiin’s comic timing on full display.
In conclusion, the teaser, with many hilarious moments and Nithiin in fine form, promises another Bheeshma kind of entertainer. The scale seems to be bigger than Bheeshma this time around. Powered by expansive cinematography along with a lively background score and fascinating juxtaposition of action with humour and romance, the teaser makes viewers look forward to the many ROFL moments that the film has, with the promise of a twist in the tale which will further elevate the viewing experience.
Also featuring Vennela Kishore, Tom Shine Chacko and Aadukalam Naren in supporting roles, Robinhood opens in cinemas on December 25, 5024.
