SS Rajamouli’s latest magnum opus RRR Movie is setting records in the USA for Indian films. 13 days prior to the premieres, RRR has already crossed $1 Million in pre sales. This is the fastest $1 Million dollars in pre sales by any Indian cinema in the USA.

Telugu version leads with 99.2% sales
The majority of sales are for Telugu version only though Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions are also releasing. Telugu version sales consist of 99.2% of the one million dollars in the USA.

Big formats account for 91.78% sales
The IMAX version of RRR sales account for 40% of the total sales. Cinemark XD version sales account for 51,78% of total sales. These two big format screens account for 91.78% sales. It proves that movie lovers want to watch RRR on a big format screen for the experience it offers in terms of sound and visuals.

Cinemark leads with 60.43% sales
Cinemark leads in sales of RRR tickets as 60.43% collections are generated by Cinemark. AMC and Regal chains have a share of 14.5% each. These three theatre chains account for 89.5% of total sales.

Texas leads as usual
Texas is the state where more Telugu people live in the USA. Texas generates 26.8% of sales. The distant second place is California. Thanks to the software Telugu crowd in the Bay Area. The State of California generates 10.2% of the sales.

With such a humongous craze for the RRR film, we expect amazing openings and outstanding run in the USA just like everywhere else!
