With its very first glimpse which was unveiled in January, Victory Venkatesh-starrer Saindhav has piqued the interest of the viewers. Add to the fact that it is his prestigious 75th project means there are a lot of expectations surrounding it. No wonder, the trade is also keeping an eye on the film.

We hear the film, which is writer-director Sailesh Kolanu’s latest directorial after HIT franchise, will kick off its principal photography from March 22 in Hyderabad. “The first schedule of nearly 20 days will be shot in and around Hyderabad. The unit will take a break of a week or 10 days later. It will be followed by the next schedule of 20 days, which will take place in Visakhapatnam and Kakinada,” said a source.

The source added that as the film has a lot of action, Venky, who will be seen in a salt and pepper look, is training hard for the action part. “He is super excited and charged up about the film,” the source noted.

An action drama, where a medicine Onasemnogene abeparvovec (each vial costs around Rs. 16.5 cr), which is used to treat spinal muscular atrophy in kids below five years, plays a vital role, the film is production venture of Venkat Boyanapalli under Niharika Entertainment, while Santosh Narayanan is the composer.
