Pogaru fame Sriya Reddy is staging a comeback to Telugu cinema with Prabhas-starrer Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, after eons. The actress has wrapped up shooting her portions for the film, one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and has heaped high praise on Prashanth for conceptualizing her character to perfection and pushing her beyond her boundaries. “I pen this with an overwhelming feeling of immense gratitude to Prashant Neel. He visualised my character ,believed that he will make it happen. This character was conceptualised by him to such perfection and detail.

“He chose me, even though I was off the grid. It is his sheer faith and brilliance as a director that this could be achieved. For pushing me beyond my boundaries and making me feel much better than I was yesterday! Thank you for listening without judgment,for your utmost patience,every step of the way. Thank you for understanding, for shaking me out of my complacency into believing that I could do it (sic),” she rhapsodized.

A high-voltage actioner, Salaar has been shot in India and in countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The pan-India film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam simultaneously.

It also stars Shruti Haasan along with Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Madhu Guruswamy and Saurav Lokesh in other key roles.
