Attention folks, the trailer of Sankranthiki Vasthunam is here and it is everything we had hoped for. Like a quintessential Anil Ravipudi film, this one too has humour (lots of it), confusion, action and family drama. Superstar Mahesh Babu dropped the trailer on his X account on Monday evening, while the launch event was held in Nizamabad.
Spanning close to two-and-a-half minutes, the trailer opens with the kidnap of an influential individual, who when not rescued can lead to the fall of the (state) government. The police department is on the lookout for one individual who can help and that individual turns out to be an ex-cop played by victory Venkatesh. He is introduced as a mild-mannered husband of a character played by Aishwarya Rajesh; he is living a happy life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Aishwarya is optimistic that no one can disrupt their marital bliss. On cue enters Meenakshi Chaudhary, who is Venky’s ex-girlfriend. As Aishwarya is worried about her, Meenakshi says she has no feeling on her husband, only to fall on his shoulder at the sound of a thunderstorm, further fueling Aishwarya’s doubts. A concerned Aishwarya tags her husband to the police operation to rescue the kidnapped individual but the going gets tough for Venky as he is sandwiched between the two women, barely allowing him to concentrate on the job at hand. Will he be able to help the government seems to form the crux of the story.
Full of comedy bursts and thrill, the trailer promises to deliver non-stop laughter as Venky navigates through the ups and downs of his mission with two women – his wife and his ex-girlfriend – constantly demanding his attention, throwing them into a series of hilarious and chaotic situations. He is in fine form with his one-liners which land perfectly, eliciting a ton of laughs. Dialogues like every guy before marriage has a lover are pure gold. Joining the trio on this wild ride are Senior Naresh, VTV Ganesh and Upendra Limaye, adding more spice to the comedy mix. The production values are rich.
Presented by Dil Raju and produced by Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film, a Bheems Ceciroleo musical, will sail into cinemas on January 14th.
#SankranthikiVastunnam trailer is highly entertaining. Vintage Venky is too good in the trailer. The aspect of two heroines is handled entertainingly.
Anil Ravipudi excels in entertainment and family emotions. Dialogues are also very entertaining!
