The teaser of Aadi Sai Kumar-fronted Shambhala was dropped by the makers on Saturday and it promises to be an intriguing mystery thriller full of twists and turns.

Playing out over more than a couple of minutes, the teaser opens with a voice over stating the universe is filled with many mysteries and when science is unable to answer them, they are called superstitions. As the voice over continues, we see a comet descending on a village, bringing chaos with it. The animals sense something wrong as soon as it lands. The comet lords over the five elements of nature and soon we see the death of some villagers, causing unrest and a sense of deep panic among the villagers. The comet even takes some of the villagers under its grip, while the cops and village head scratch their heads for answers. Into this scenario enters Aadi, who is believed to be playing the role of a geo-scientist. He has his task cut out. How does he deal with the pressing issue in front of him, while confronting many villagers under the control of the comet seems to form the crux of the story!

In conclusion, the teaser promises a compelling and emotionally charged mystery thriller, hinting at a narrative filled with tension, intrigue and the unraveling of mysterious force that leads to the death of many villagers, while some are under its control. With minimal dialogues, decent production values and suspenseful music (by the ever reliable Sricharan Pakala), the teaser succeeds in creating a sense of mystery by giving away only little of the plot. While computer graphics could’ve been more refined, the teaser still manages to pack a punch.

Written and directed by Ugandhar Muni, the film, produced by by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju under Shining Pictures Banner, also features Archana Iyer, Swasika Vijay, Madhunanadan, Ravi Varma, Meesala Laxman, Shiju Menon, Harsha Vardhan, Shiva Karthik, Indraaniel, Shailaja Priya, Chaitra, Ramaraju, Annapoorna Amma, Praveen, Rangadham, Sravana Sandhya.

శంభాల టీజర్ ఆసక్తికరమైన మిస్టరీ థ్రిల్లర్‌ అయ్యే హామీ ఇస్తోంది

ఆది సాయికుమార్ ప్రధాన పాత్రలో నటించిన 'శంభాల' టీజర్ శనివారం విడుదలైంది. మలుపులతో నిండి ఉన్న ఒక ఆసక్తికరమైన మిస్టరీ థ్రిల్లర్‌గా ఈ సినిమా ఉండబోతుందని టీజర్ హామీ ఇస్తోంది.

రెండు నిమిషాలకు పైగా నిడివిలో ఉన్న ఈ టీజర్, "ఈ విశ్వంలో ఎన్నో రహస్యాలు ఉన్నాయ్. శాస్త్రం వాటికి సమాధానం చెప్పలేకపోతే, అవి అపశ్రద్ధలు అవుతాయి" అనే వాయిస్ ఓవర్‌తో ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. అదే సమయంలో ఒక గ్రామంలోకి ఉల్క పతనం అవుతూ చూపిస్తూ, అది కల్లోలం సృష్టించడం కనిపిస్తుంది. ఉల్క పడిన క్షణంలోనే జంతువులు అసహజంగా ప్రవర్తించటం ప్రారంభిస్తాయి. అది ప్రకృతి పంచభూతాలపై ఆధిపత్యం చెలాయిస్తుంది. కొంతమంది గ్రామస్తుల మరణంతో గ్రామంలో భయాందోళనలు మొదలవుతాయి. కొంతమంది గ్రామస్తులు ఆ ఉల్క ప్రభావానికి లోనవుతారు. పోలీసు అధికారులు, గ్రామ పెద్దలు ఇందుకు పరిష్కారం కనుగొనలేక సతమతమవుతారు.

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఆది ప్రవేశిస్తాడు. అతను జియో సైంటిస్ట్ పాత్రలో నటిస్తున్నాడని తెలుస్తోంది. తన పాత్ర స్పష్టమైన లక్ష్యంతో ఉంటుంది. ఆది ఈ విపత్కర పరిస్థితిని ఎలా ఎదుర్కొంటాడు? ఉల్క ప్రభావంలో ఉన్న గ్రామస్తులను ఎలా ఎదుర్కొంటాడు? అనేది కథానికలో ప్రధాన అంశంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.

మొత్తానికి, ఈ టీజర్ ఉత్కంఠతో కూడిన, భావోద్వేగాలతో నిండిన మిస్టరీ థ్రిల్లర్‌ను వాగ్దానం చేస్తోంది. అనేక మలుపులు, చిక్కులు, గ్రామస్తుల మరణాలకు దారితీసే ఒక మాయాశక్తి వెనుక మిస్టరీకి సంబంధించిన కథాంశం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. తక్కువ డైలాగులు, బాగున్న నిర్మాణ విలువలు, శ్రీచరణ్ పాకాల అందించిన థ్రిల్లింగ్ బ్యాక్‌గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ టీజర్‌ను అద్భుతంగా మలిచాయి. కంప్యూటర్ గ్రాఫిక్స్ ఇంకా మెరుగ్గా ఉండి ఉండేవి కానీ అయినప్పటికీ టీజర్ కాస్తంత మాత్రం ఊహించిన కథను మాత్రమే చూపిస్తూ ఆసక్తిని రేకెత్తించడంలో సఫలమైంది.

ఉగంధర్ ముని దర్శకత్వంతో రూపొందిన ఈ చిత్రాన్ని మహిధర్ రెడ్డి, రాజశేఖర్ అన్నభిమోజు కలిసి ‘షైనింగ్ పిక్చర్స్’ బ్యానర్‌పై నిర్మించారు. చిత్రంలో అర్చన అయ్యర్, స్వాసిక విజయ్, మధునందన్, రవి వర్మ, మీసాల లక్ష్మణ్, శిజు మెనన్, హర్షవర్ధన్, శివ కార్తిక్, ఇంద్రానీల్, శైలజా ప్రియా, చైత్ర, రామరాజు, అన్నపూర్ణమ్మ, ప్రవీణ్, రంగధామ్, శ్రావణ సంద్య తదితరులు కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటిస్తున్నారు.
