The unit of Game Changer, front-lined by Global star Ram Charan, on Wednesday celebrated the birthday of high-flying director Shankar on the film’s set in Hyderabad. With Shankar deciding to spend time with his family tomorrow in Chennai, the unit decided to cut the cake today itself, said a source.
“After shooting in Nizam College, Hyderabad for over a week, the shoot shifted to Begumpet’s Chiraan Fort Club on Tuesday and on Wednesday too, the unit filmed there with Charan, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Raghu Babu and Pridhvi. With Shankar unavailable tomorrow, which is his 60thbirthday, the unit decided to mark the occasion today itself by cutting a cake. Charan, producer Dil Raju, Pridhvi and Banerjee were present at the occasion. Shankar flew back to Chennai after participating in the celebrations,” chipped in a source.
The source added that the present schedule which started last Tuesday will resume again on Saturday in Annapurna 7 Acres and will go into the majority of next week. “Leading lady Kiara Advani will be joining the shoot in this leg,” revealed the source.
Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Game Changer is a political drama which sees Charan as an honest IAS officer who wants to root out corruption in the society and breathe life into the political system. Thaman is scoring the music. Apart from Telugu and Tamil, it will also be released in Hindi and other regional languages.
