Malayalam tunesmith Hesham Abdul Wahab, who received widespread praise for romantic drama Hridayam’s (2022) soundtrack and background score, has landed another Telugu film. The musician, who is making his Telugu debut with Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha-starrer Khushi, has been signed on by the makers of Sharwanand’s next with Sriram Adittya, idlebrain.com has learnt exclusively.

A source close to the unit tells us, “The untitled project is a young, vibrant and hilarious entertainer loaded with warm emotions, and has a lot of scope for music. In fact, this is Hesham’s second signing in Telugu. He signed #Nani30 which was launched yesterday in Hyderabad after this film. Music plays an important role in the film and the number of songs will exceed more than the standard number of five or six. The recording sessions have already started.”

A People Media Factory production, the film, featuring Krithi Shetty opposite Sharwa, will roll later this month with a brief schedule of close to ten days either in Hyderabad or Visakhapatnam. “The unit will later travel to London in the fourth week of February for an extensive schedule. More than 80 percent of the film will be shot in the UK. The unit is looking to wrap up the entire shoot by May-end,” the source concludes.
