Actor Sharwanand on Thursday got engaged to Rakshita Reddy, a techie who is the daughter of high court lawyer Madhusudhan Reddy and granddaughter of late political leader Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy who worked as the minister in N Chandrababu Naidu government.

The engagement was held at a star hotel in Hyderabad and went on with much pomp and show. Actor Ram Charan, who is one of Sharwa’s closest buddies, attended the event along with his wife Upasna.

Uploading pictures from the ceremony on his Instagram page, Sharwanand wrote, "Meet my special one, Rakshita. Taking the big step in life with this beautiful lady. Need all your blessings." While he donned a cream coloured kurta, his fiancé looked resplendent in a light blue saree paired up with an embroidery pink blouse. The wedding is scheduled to take place later this summer and the date announcing the same is around the corner.

On the work front, Sharwa will be next seen in Sriram Adittya’s next, a vibrant and hilarious entertainer loaded with warm emotions. To roll shortly, majority of the untitled film would be shot in Europe– primarily in London. A production venture of People Media Factory, the film sees Krithi Shetty opposite the Oke Oka Jeevitham actor. The actor also has lyricist Krishna Chaitanya’s next flick, a political drama with a generous dose of humour, in his kitty.
