The makers of Ashwin Babu-fronted Shivam Bhaje on Tuesday unveiled the trailer at an event in Hyderabad and it is every bit thrilling with a heavy dose of action.
Approximately two minutes in duration, the trailer opens with a terrorist hatching a plan to wipe off India from the world map. As Indian intelligence agencies sense an imminent large-scale threat, they believe the country needs a special agent to counter this probable catastrophe. We are later introduced to Ashwin who takes down a raft of thugs. The scene cuts to some mysterious deaths in the society and a cop (played by Arbaaz Khan) is unable to crack it. The next target is Ashwin and he is almost killed. As Arbaaz tries to establish a link between the attempt on Ashwin to that of other deaths, the latter survives. Ashwin soon starts to dig about the guy who was behind the attempt on him. He, however, can see the people trying to kill him but not the mastermind. With his brains and brawn, he somehow finds out the mastermind. What happens next?
Overall, the trailer, with impressive imagery, adrenaline-fueled action and rich production values, delivers a super hit wallop. The background score by Vikas Badisa is rousing and adds to the intensity of the trailer, while the sharp editing keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. Ashwin jumps, kicks and punches like never before in a role that seems to have many layers, with company from Arbaaz and Murli Sharma who seem to have landed meaty parts as well.
Also featuring Digangana Suryavanshi, Sai Dheena, Tulasi, Devi Prasad, Shakalaka Shankar, Kashi Vishwanath and Inaya Sultana, Shivam Bhaje, produced by Maheshwar Reddy Mooli and directed by Apsar, sails into cinemas on August 1st.
