Debuting as a leading lady with the Bollywood film Luck in 2009, Shruti Haasan has come a long way. Working in industries where an actress's shelf life is less, it’s remarkable that Shruti, straddling multiple film industries, continues to shine brighter than ever even today–15 years after making her debut.

While the initial phase of her career might not have gone according to her wishes despite praiseworthy turns in films like Oh My Friend and 3, stars changed overnight for her with Pawan Kalyan-starrer Gabbar Singh. She was deemed iron leg when director Harish Shankar cast her for the film but the story was something else after the film released. She later went on to associate with multiple successful ventures like Balupu, Yevadu, Race Gurram, Srimanthudu and Premam in Telugu.

There was a slight gap in her career in Telugu after Katamarayudu but she bounced back in style with Krack, proving that form is temporary and class is permanent. She subsequently played key roles in super hits like Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. She recently sizzled in a song in Hi Nanna and was seen in Prabhas-starrer Salaar as well. She was part of Treadstone, an American action drama television series, connected to and based on the Bourne film series. In what is an enviable resume, she has done more than 45 projects in five languages so far, displaying versatility and adaptability.

And she’s not done yet. Besides Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, she has Dacoit opposite Adivi Sesh in her kitty in Telugu. She’s got more irons in the fire in other southern languages as well. She is a part of superstar Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie which Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing. There’s also a pan India Kannada film that she has green-lit.
