Rebel star Prabhas-starrer Spirit is one of the hotly anticipated films. Any development about it is awaited with bated breath as the film marks the first time teaming up of Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In a recent interview, film’s producer Bhushan Kumar, also T-Series head, confirmed that they are looking to have the cameras rolling early next year.
“Sandeep is writing everyday; he’s making songs too. We will do a muhurat shot in December mostly. The principal photography will begin early next year. It’s a cop drama; it’s a huge film. The kind of scenes Sandeep has narrated me; it’s in a different zone. Our casting will be interesting; we will announce it soon. I’m excited about the film. Sandeep is burning the midnight oil to work on the script. As we know, his songs are a part of the screenplay. When he is writing the script, he will simultaneously work on the songs as well. (From Spirit) he played me two songs, which are integral to the story. When I asked how many songs he conceived for Animal, he replied, saying two. As he worked on the script more, the number of songs increased to eight and all of them were blockbuster,” Bhushan Kumar said.
The producer added they are looking to release Spirit in the mid of 2026. As far as the sequel to Animal, Animal Park, is concerned, he revealed that Sandeep has an idea in mind and he will take six months to write it after he wraps up Spirit. “We will start it early 2027; that’s for sure,” he stated.
