Fresh off the massive success of Samajavaragamana, actor Sree Vishnu has green-lit a new project. Sources tell us exclusively that he will be teaming up with writer-director Hussain Sha Kiran for the untitled project.
Kiran earlier directed Meeku Meere Maaku Meme (2016), which failed to light up the box office. He, however, shares a close association with Sukumar; having worked on the latter’s films like Nannaku Prematho and Pushpa: The Rise in the writing department.
A source close to the development tells us, “Hussain’s project with Vishnu is an investigative thriller, which will keep the viewers on the edge-of-their-seats. The script has come out well and the unit is pumped up about it. It’s a Hyderabad-set drama, with the makers looking to wrap it up in less than 60 days. The principal photography will kick off on September 24.”
The source adds that Reba Monica John, whose chemistry with Vishnu in Samajavaragamana, won her praise has been picked as the leading lady, while hot-shot composer Kaala Bhairava will be scoring the music. “Sandeep Gunnam will be producing the film under his Light Box Media, while multiple national-award winning editor Sreekar Prasad will edit it.”
When idlebrain.com reached out to the producer, he confirmed the development. He added that the likes of Veer (Hindi actor), Sudarshan and Ayyappa Sharma will be seen in supporting roles.
In addition to the aforementioned movie, Vishnu is also shooting for two other projects– one with Hushaaru fame Sree Harsha and another, Swag, with his Raja Raja Chora director Hasith Goli.
