We Made “Summer Holidays” to Give Audiences a Good Film; Don’t Miss Such a Wonderful Movie in Theatres: Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni at the Thank You Meet
"సమ్మర్ హాలిడేస్"తో ప్రేక్షకులకు ఒక మంచి సినిమా ఇవ్వాలని ప్రయత్నించాం, ఇలాంటి మంచి చిత్రాన్ని థియేటర్ లో మిస్ కావొద్దు - థ్యాంక్స్ మీట్ లో ప్రొడ్యూసర్ ధీరజ్ మొగిలినేని
“Summer Holidays”, which recently arrived in theatres, has emerged as another hit for Tollywood. The film is produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni under the banner of Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments and directed by Srikar Nayan. Master Rohan, Master Arun and Baby Khushi play key roles in the movie.
Released recently, “Summer Holidays” has been winning the appreciation of both children and adults, earning a positive response from audiences. Against this backdrop, the team organised a grand thank-you meet in Hyderabad on Friday.
Actor Ramana Bhargav said, “I am thankful to Dheeraj garu not just for giving me an opportunity in this film, but also for producing such a wonderful movie. While watching it, I was reminded of my childhood memories, just like all of you. I am grateful to the entire team.”
Actress Harshini said, “Whenever we feel low, we often look at our old photographs, and they instantly make us feel good. Watching ‘Summer Holidays’ will give you a similar feeling. It will refresh and recharge you. This is a film that everyone should watch for themselves. I request audiences to watch and enjoy our movie in theatres.”
Actress Vasuki said, “Our entire team worked with the selfless intention of making a good film. We did not make ‘Summer Holidays’ expecting box-office rewards or awards. We wanted to tell a story that carries a beautiful emotion and a meaningful message. I hope everyone appreciates the sincere effort made by this wonderful team.”
Master Arun said, “I became emotional while working on ‘35 Chinna Katha Kaadu’ and again when I received the National Award. Now, this film has made me emotional once more. Many people have been calling and congratulating us after watching it. The interval sequence and climax have moved audiences to tears. I thank our director and producer for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful film. If I am standing on this stage today, it is because of my parents. I am grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey.”
Master Rohan said, “‘Summer Holidays’ is a diamond-like film from our Telugu film industry. We often appreciate Tamil and Malayalam films, and I request everyone to recognise and support such a wonderful film from our own industry as well. If you spread positive word of mouth about our movie, more families will come to theatres. Working with Arun was a great experience. I hope producer Dheeraj garu will launch me as a hero soon.”
Director Srikar Nayan said, “It makes me happy to hear people comparing Arun and Rohan to Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. Throughout this journey, Dheeraj has stood by me as a friend and mentor. I request everyone to watch our film in theatres. I assure you that you will not be disappointed. You will walk out with a smile on your face and a beautiful emotional experience. We sincerely tried to give audiences a good film, and I hope they support our effort.”
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “Our media friends have extended tremendous support to our film. Their encouragement has given me the confidence to make ten more films. Every artist in our team, right from Jayasudha garu, supported us wholeheartedly, and every technician worked with great passion.
“After ‘90s’ arrived on OTT, many people posted on social media saying that they regretted missing it in theatres. It is difficult for small films like ours to secure theatres in prime locations. However, people trusted me and gave our film a good number of screens in important centres. Yet, audiences are still hesitant to come to theatres. They keep thinking that they can watch a film after a week or ten days. If you continue thinking that way, you will keep missing good films in theatres.
“If you encourage films like ‘Summer Holidays’, more directors like Srikar will get the opportunity to bring such meaningful stories to the screen. If anyone says this is not true, I will stop producing films. Appreciating a film after watching it on OTT does not really help the people who made it. Our purpose is fulfilled only when audiences watch it in theatres.
“Children who watch our film will learn many valuable things and gain a better understanding of life. From children to adults, we have made sure that nobody is disappointed. ‘Summer Holidays’ is our sincere attempt to give audiences a good film. I request everyone not to miss this wonderful movie in theatres.”
