Global star Ram Charan on Thursday unveiled the carnage of Sambarala Yeti Gattu (SYG), which is his cousin Sai Durgha Tej’s next and it will blow your mind away, trust us. It’s a SDT show.
A little over two-and-a-half minutes, the carnage opens with the voiceovers of Srikanth, Sai Kumar and Jagapathi Babu before we are introduced to Sai who is resting on an uprooted tree amid a pool of dead bodies. It’s night time. The space around him has caught fire but Sai is not in a mood to retreat. As more men approach to kill him, he removes the knife that has cut into his back and goes on a butchering spree, neutralizing every threat with a warrior-like precision. The action block is captured in slo-mo as it elevates its impact. He is finally revealed in full figure, cutting a well-toned body with bruises and a thick beard. It concludes with him reeling a powerful one-liner.
In conclusion, the carnage promises an out-and-out action flick, which required Sai to put in extra effort to look the part and also to translate the power-packed action sequences well on screen. We simply can’t take our eyes off him. It also hints at a dark and complex narrative, with Sai’s portrayal of a ruthless and determined character promising to be a standout performance in his career. The background score by Ajaneesh enhances the carnage’s dramatic impact, while the sharp editing keeps us hooked.
Produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under Primeshow Entertainment, SYG will open in cinemas on September 25, 2025 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Debutant Rohith KP is directing it from his own script.
