The trailer of Takkar is here and we get to see our Bommarillu Siddharth in action after a long while. Genre-wise, it’s something different for Sid who is branded for his romantic image. Giving him company in the film is Majili girl Divyansha Kaushik, while Karthik G Krish directed it.
Playing out a little over two minutes, the trailer begins with Siddharth riding a car on a highway, stating: “Desire runs the world. It dictates our life. Money is the engine that fulfils the desire. To earn it, everyone has their own way. What if everyone’s way is the same?” The trailer later shifts attention to Divyansha who belongs to a wealthy family. She, however, likes to lead an independent life and doesn’t want anyone to stick their nose in her life. Her path soon crosses with that of Sid and they form a formidable jodi who embark on a crime path to make quick bucks. The trailer is also dotted with shots of Sid kidnapping Divyansha, with police trailing him, foreigners playing the bad guys and a track involving Yogi Babu who is playing dual roles. It ends on a high note with Sid neutralizing multiple men on a bridge. Overall, it promises to be a racy crime entertainer interspersed with action and humour.
