Rumours about Tamannaah doing an item number in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s still-untitled next with Anil Ravipudi have been swirling around since February. In the past few days or so, the rumours have gained more momentum. The fact that Tamannaah performed for an item number in Sarileru Neekevvaru and subsequently featured in Ravipudi’s F3 meant grapevine went into drive confirming her participation in #NBK108 without double checking.
In fact, some reports stated that she is charging an astronomical amount to do the item number. However, Tamannaah was having nothing of such reports. Taking to Twitter on Saturday, she said the articles doing the rounds are baseless and asked the concerned parties to undertake some proper research before publishing such news. “I have always enjoyed working with @AnilRavipudi sir. I have huge respect for both him and Nandamuri Balakrishna sir. So reading these baseless news articles about me and a song in their new film, is very upsetting. Please do your research before you make baseless allegations,” she reacted without mincing words.
On the work front in Telugu, Tamannaah will be next seen in Bhola Shankar, where she is paired opposite megastar Chiranjeevi. The film is a remake of Tamil monster hit Vedalam and she is reprising the part that was essayed by Shruti Haasan.
