A reality format that has captivated audiences in multiple countries is now preparing for its Telugu debut. Prime Video has announced that The Traitors Telugu will premiere worldwide on October 15, introducing local audiences to a contest driven by hidden identities, strategic manipulation, and the constant threat of betrayal.

Produced by SOL Productions, the series features 20 contestants from different walks of life and will be hosted by popular actor Teja Sajja. Across 10 episodes, the participants must navigate a game in which identifying the truth is just as important as keeping secrets. The competition centres on two groups: the ‘Innocents’, who must uncover the identities of the ‘Traitors’, and the Traitors, who must remain undetected while working towards their own objectives.
 
Prime Video released an announcement glimpse featuring Teja Sajja explaining the show's format. The actor brings intensity to the introduction as he discusses the different kinds of traitors and the mind games that define the competition. His energetic presentation provides a taste of what viewers can expect from the Telugu edition.
 
The format has grown into an international entertainment franchise, with adaptations across more than 30 countries. The Telugu version follows the phenomenal response to the Hindi adaptation, which has delivered two successful seasons. While the underlying concept remains unchanged, the new edition introduces the format to Telugu audiences through a fresh group of contestants and the cultural identity of the regional entertainment industry.
 
With its combination of psychological strategy, interpersonal drama, and concealed loyalties, The Traitors Telugu brings a different style of competition to the regional streaming landscape. The show will be available exclusively on Prime Video in Telugu, with English subtitles. The four-week release schedule will have new episodes premiering every Thursday at 12 PM.
