Nithiin-starrer Thammudu is one of his biggest-budgeted flicks to date and the fact that he is teaming up with Venu Sreeram, who’s last Vakeel Saab was a successful venture, means that there is considerable buzz surrounding the project.

With Nithiin shooting simultaneously for Robinhood, Thammudu shoot has been going on sporadically but we hear the makers will soon reach 70 percent completion. According to a source, the makers are right now filming the pre-climax action episode. “The shoot is going on at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad where 70 fighters are partaking in the sequence, which is set on a massive scale. The scene involves a lot of visual effects as well. With the completion of this episode, 70 percent of the shoot stands completed. Besides the leading man, Sapthami Gowda, leading lady, Laya and Temper Vamsi are participating in this schedule,” the source points out.

Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Thammudu, a story of ambition, courage, and determination, is an action-drama with a brother-sister emotional angle. It has been extensively shot in Hyderabad and Maredumilli so far with a small schedule taking place in New Delhi as well. Kantara and Virupaksha fame Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer while Sameer Reddy is lensing it.
